The Northern Forest Tourism Network is an emerging network of businesses, non-profits, universities, and individuals with a shared interest in improving tourism outcomes in the rural Northern Forest. This network is the regional umbrella for the Rural Destination Tourism Initiative, intended to enhance and better coordinate – not replace! – existing efforts and entities.
Our primary focus areas right now include:
- Building the network. Your participation matters, so please join us! Contact Kate Williams to get involved and learn more.
- Distributing an e-newsletter every other month as a way to share information and catalyze learning that will improve regional tourism outcomes.
- Facilitate a gathering of the network in Fall/Winter 2009 as a way to build relationships across the region and enhance collaboration around effective tourism strategies for our region.
